Sunshine Group of Erie

The Sunshine Group of Erie celebrated their 50th year of serving the Erie Community and surrounding areas! The Sunshine Group of Erie is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping those in need, homeless, veterans, shelters, food pantries, nursing homes, hospice, soup kitchens and local non-profits serving the needy by delivering Sunshine Boxes filled with much needed items for daily living and to bring joy to children who may not otherwise receive needed school items or toys. We donate thousands of these boxes each year filled with winter weather items, school supplies, toys, books, household items, handmade wheelchair and walker bags, neck pillows, lap robes, hygiene items, homemade hats & scarves, stuffed animals, socks, toiletries and many hand sewn, crocheted or knitted items and much more. Most items are made from donated supplies but sometimes we need to purchase items. We also pay rent, utilities and insurance. Please help us continue this mission for the people of Erie County.
