Sustainable Arizona

Sustainable Arizona began in 2003 to provide a nexus for organizations working on sustainable development in Arizona.

We know this state can be difficult. However there are wonderful people doing courageous things across the state, and we are here to help them succeed.

Our current challenge involves collaborations between the three state universities, leading green businesses, nonprofits and local communities. Our objective is to help communities develop self-reliant local economies and build resiliency to the strains of a dysfunctional global economy, climate change and a lack of political leadership.

We put any funds we receive directly to use in communities, helping build local food supplies, supporting local businesses, educating children and their parents on how to make a better quality of life for themselves, their neighbors and those generations that follow.

Our partners who receive funding from this effort include Grow Organic Kids, using school gardens to help children understand how they fit into the world, and GMO Free Prescott, protecting our food supplies and our heath.
