Suze's Prescott Center for the Arts

A nonprofit organization

PCA's vision is to be the community's foremost leader in providing complete, personal and collaborative experiences. Its mission is to create opportunities for the greater community to engage in and experience all facets of the arts. The Center does so with a full-time staff of five and 2,500 volunteers.

Suze's PCA is housed in the former, historic Sacred Heart Catholic Church, dedicated in 1895, and gifted to the Center in 1969. This building includes a 99-seat Cabaret Stage and an Artists Lounge collaborative space for art exhibits, gatherings, and meetings. A recent campus expansion added a 99-seat black box Studio Theater equipped with state-of-the-art technology including energy efficient LED lighting, surround sound, and immersive video projection capabilities, a Studio Gallery, three classrooms, and a large multiuse rehearsal/classroom/meeting space. The recent 8000 sq. ft. expansion now allows Suze's PCA to expand its focus on youth to offer a full range of after school programs, affordable summer and school break camps, and youth training programs, internships, and career mentorships with professional artists, all while facilitating employment for artist teachers at our Center and through community partnerships in Yavapai County.
Suze's PCA is a full-service, non-profit arts agency that serves the community through diverse arts programming in the performing and visual arts. We provide events and services to 100,000 adults and youth annually that promote community building and cohesion, cultural awareness, and education. Programs include a full season of theater performances, including Family Theater, visual art exhibit opportunities for emerging and professional artists, summer camps for youth, festivals, workshops, and outreach programs for libraries and schools. Many of these programs are free or discounted to the public, especially for youth, veteran, recovery, and special needs groups. Suze's PCA also provides over $25,000 annually for need and merit-based scholarships to youth, ages 8 - 18 in visual and performing arts.
