Tangipahoa Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council (TADAC)

TADAC's missions is to work to decrease alcohol, tobacco and other substance use or abuse by young people through substance use prevention education, parent education, resources and support.

Tangipahoa Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council (TADAC) is a community-based substance use and abuse prevention agency. TADAC is located in Hammond, Louisiana and offers a number of prevention programs such as an evidence-based Life Skills Training program and the evidence informed Generation RX program. TADAC operates using grant funding to provide these prevention programs within the Tangipahoa and St. Helena parishes. In addition to these programs, TADAC participates in many community events and runs substance use prevention campaigns within the Tangipahoa Parish area.
