Twin City Mission will accomplish its vision of a community in which all individuals and families have the opportunity for hope, acceptance, and stability, in a safe and caring environment, through programs addressing: homelessness; violence and abuse; family conflict; youth in crisis; life skills deficiencies; and poverty. Client Story: A long-time resident of the shelter named Ronnie finally found stable housing, but found himself in his new apartment with nothing but the clothes he brought from the shelter. Ronnie came to speak with a case manager, who referred him to the Community Closet. He went and visited with Closet Manager Tanya and stated that she was so sweet and caring that his experience was made so much better. Ronnie was able to get a bed, a small chair, and bedding for his bed from the Closet. He said that his experience while at the shelter and after visiting Tanya at the Closet left him very much thankful for a wonderful organization like Twin City Mission.
