Upper St. Clair Township Library

The Mission of the Library is to provide for the educational, informational, and recreational needs of our local community. We provide popular materials of current social and cultural interest for recreational purposes and informational resources on topics related to work, school and personal life. We are a center for life-long learning, assisting and supporting literacy for all ages, and providing help using library technology.

The Upper St. Clair Township Library is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Township Municipal Building and is open Monday through Thursday, 9:30am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday, 9:30am to 5pm, and Sundays during the school year from 1 to 5 pm.
The library collection of approximately 100,000 circulating items includes books, audio books, music, and movies for all ages. The children's library also loans puppets and puzzles. There is a "Play to Learn" area filled with educational toys to foster math and literacy skills as well as eye-hand coordination and imagination. The "Explore to Learn" area offers STEM activities for school aged children. Online resources include ebooks, downloadable audio and video, and online databases.
As a member of the Allegheny County eiNetwork, the library participates in the shared County Catalog which library patrons may access on the Internet at catalog.einetwork.net. Requested materials may be sent from and picked up at any public library in Allegheny County.
The library has computer workstations with high-speed Internet access and Microsoft Office software, and also provides free wireless access for laptop users. A variety of programs and classes, listed on the library website, are offered throughout the year for both children and adults.
