TADA (The Arts Deserve Attention) has been in Lincoln for 16 years showcasing Nebraska talent in theatrical productions, collaborations and regional premiers while being able to offer quality, affordable theatre to a wide array of patrons from all backgrounds and ages.

TADA began one production at a time through collaboration and motivation to bring the very best shows possible to the stage. With a core group of theatrical artists, an ever growing patron base and an esteemed Board of Directors, TADA Productions, Inc. is now one of the fastest growing theatre companies in the Midwest and has involved hundreds of actors, students, designers and regional artists.

TADA Productions, Inc. is based in the award winning TADA Theatre in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket and has been recognized by show creators on both coasts putting a national spotlight on the vibrant Lincoln community.

TADA is the recipient of a Proclamation for Theatre Excellence from the State of Nebraska, a Mayor’s Arts Award from the City of Lincoln, and an Impact Award for downtown development from the Downtown Lincoln Association.

TADA received national recognition working with show creators on the Midwest premiere of Jekyll & Hyde the musical as well as the regional premieres of Forbidden Broadway, The 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee, Happy Days A New Musical, The Spidey Project and Gilligan's Island the musical, working alongside legendary TV icons Sherwood and Lloyd Schwartz. TADA has also received direct permission to perform songs from such theatre composers and lyricists as Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Schwartz.

TADA's history has been filled with a variety of collaborative productions such as Sweeney Todd with the Nebraska Symphony Chamber Orchestra, A Cornhusker Christmas with NET radio, South Pacific and Big River with the Lincoln Choral Artists, Beauty and the Beast with Lincoln Parks and Recreation, Quilters with the International Quilt Study Center, several productions with The Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and the Lied Center For Performing Arts.
