Take Action Mon Valley

Take Action Mon Valley (TAMV) is a social justice organization that focuses on addressing racism in small communities. Presently, we do work in the Mon Valley/Greater Pittsburgh area (Allegheny County). 

Mission: We empower and equip those experiencing social injustices through grassroots community organizing and skill building in order to solve current and future problems through education, community organizing and promoting Black Liberation.

Vision: We envision closing the gap for those who suffer social injustices so they can live in their truth without apology, limitation, stigma, or oppressive stereotypes or expectations.

How We Take Action:

Community Chapters, Social Justice Complaints, Workshops, Training and Consulting

• Community Organizing
• Promoting the Black Experience via Storytelling
• Regional Chapters
• Advocating for social justice issues/initiatives 
• Victim Advocacy
• Seasonal donations to community programs, events and short term community emergency programming (as needed)
