Tallahassee Senior Center and Services (TSC) enhances the independence and quality of life for seniors and caregivers through educational, social, recreational, and wellness opportunities. The mission of the TSC Foundation is to generate funding to support programs, services and participants of Tallahassee Senior Services. Senior center services provide the most cost effective means for people to continue to participate in the community, stay socially fit, and postpone the need for more costly in-home or institutional services. The average age of our participants is early 70's. The largest area of growth is with the age 65 and under population – 30 percent, while at the same time almost 100 people age 90 and older are “aging in place” at the Senior Center, still participating in the activities they love and staying connected to their support network of friends.
