Tallatoona Community Action Partnership Inc

Tallatoona CAP, Inc. is a vibrant, non-profit, Community Action Agency that has been serving children and families in Northwest Georgia for over 50 years.  Our mission is to assist low-income individuals and families to acquire useful skills and knowledge, to gain new opportunities and to achieve self-sufficiency.  Through a holistic approach families and individuals are served through our Head Start, Early Head Start Child Care Partnership, Pathways to Empowerment, Energy Assistance and Weatherization programs.  In 2018 we provided services to over 15,000 individuals and families in Bartow, Cobb, Douglas, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Paulding and Polk counties.   Please join us “Helping Families Take Their Lead” as we seek to ensure children have the proper School Readiness Skills to excel in Kindergarten and beyond; as well as providing opportunities for individuals and families in Northwest Georgia to become self-sufficient.
