The Cat's Meow Rescue (TCMR)

The Cat's Meow Rescue (TCMR, Inc.) works hard to give at risk cats a second chance by providing secure (foster) homes, care and vetting for as long as necessary until permanent, loving homes are found through our adoption program, or by providing long-term care in our special-needs/sanctuary program. To TCMR, each life is precious and we take every step necessary to ensure that our kitties are given the best opportunity to live happy, healthy lives. See a few of our special-needs kitties below!

The Cat's Meow Rescue (TCMR, Inc.) is a 501c3 non-profit organization comprised of cat advocates that have come together to save cats and kittens from Northeast Texas (kill) shelters and other extenuating circumstances that would lead to homelessness or abandonment. TCMR is 100% volunteer run! Each member of TCMR's team dedicates their time, energy, and oftentimes personal funds to rescuing and caring for the foster kitties for the pure joy of making a difference. The rescue depends on help and donations from supporters to continue our efforts. What we do is made possible through the generosity and help of our supporters and fellow cat lovers. Animal rescue is both rewarding and overwhelming at times, but TCMR is committed to being a driving force behind bringing awareness to the community about the plight of cats and kittens in the East Texas area, while offering a much-needed second chance to the homeless / abandoned cats through our rescue and foster programs. To us, each life is precious and each cat deserves a chance to live a happy, quality life no matter how rocky their road has been in the past.
