Since our founding in 2014, we have trained over two hundred fifty students and engaged over one hundred local employers ranging from small tech firms to large corporations in healthcare, financial services, and education. 

We look forward to collaborating with you to change lives by setting individuals on new career paths in tech – with impact that ripples out to their families, our local businesses, and our entire community. 

Our Mission

Tech Foundry supports the region’s growing need for a qualified technology workforce and elevates under-represented groups into sustainable careers in IT. 

Our Model

Tech Foundry partners with employers to:

1. Assess current and future talent needs
2. Translate open positions into specific skills that can be taught and measured
3. Recruit and assess candidates
4. Offer hands-on tech training and leadership and professional development to bridge skill gaps
5. Provide work experience that serves as a ramp-to-hire for candidates and employers alike

Who We Serve

STUDENTS 

Tech Foundry students represent the diversity lacking in IT, including women, people of color, and those from non-traditional educational backgrounds. 

BUSINESSES 

Tech Foundry proudly serves businesses with 5 or more IT employees within one hour of Springfield. 

EDUCATORS 

Tech Foundry partners with educational and workforce providers to bridge gaps and create new pathways connecting traditional programs with the skills and talent pools employers need.
