Free to low-cost counseling, Community Service, Fun Programming, Life Skills Development, Teen Parent Support Services

What You'll Provide

$500 Full (2 week) summer camp experience for a teen. This includes food and local experiences.

$250 Half (1 week) summer camp experience for a teen. This includes food and local experiences.

$100 Counseling and mentorship services for a teen.

$50 Snack and Hygiene products for a teen.

Read Litzy' Story

Litzy was a teen mom who experienced homelessness over the past few years all while juggling being a high school student. In spite of these challenges, Litzy participated in the First Steps groups offered by Teen Action and Support Center at Har-Ber High School and graduated on time. 

Litzy continued participating in First Steps after graduation and served as a significant role model, positive leader and source of information for other young parents. Despite the many hurdles Litzy and her family faced, she knew she needed to graduate from high school and pursue her dreams so she could support her family. She did just that.

Over this past summer, Litzy applied to barber school and started in the fall. She and her partner Hugo are living together and raising their child. Litzy greets each new challenge with so much positive energy and is always willing to seek out and ask for assistance when needed.
