About Telluride Mushroom Festival:

Since 1981, the Telluride Mushroom Festival (TMF) has been celebrating all things mycological, from the newest advancements in mushroom science to our famous mushroom cook-off. Held annually in Telluride, Colorado, the festival capital of the Southern Rockies, TMF is a can’t miss event with a colorful history in one of the most beautiful locations on earth.

For 40 years, the Festival has been changing minds about wild mushrooms. From back when few academic mycologists would have had any interest in coming to the Festival and mycophiles attended NAMA-sanctioned forays but raised eyebrows at "Telluride." That has completely changed. For 40 years we have been changing minds...one mushroom, and one mycophile, at a time.
