Our mission is to encourage the science of genealogy, to help others gather genealogical information, to preserve material of historical and genealogical nature for educational purpose,

We have meetings once and month and encourage the public to attend. We have speakers from through out the country talking about the relatives, the history of the land and where they came from and how they lived. We have experts on helping you find relatives from the past. We recently had a speaker from Breaux Bridge, LA talking about living on a house boat in the 1900's in the Atchafalaya Basin. and in the near future we will be hearing someone talk about the early plantations of Terrebonne Parish.
