The Arising Church

It's no secret that the holidays can be a rough time for many people in different situations.  Some things can't be changed/helped...but some can.  It was our dream last year to help 100 families with Thanksgiving dinners by delivering food to them so that their family can focus on each other rather than how to put food on the table.  By the time all was said and done 5 different organizations and churches had joined forces to find and deliver 150 boxes of Thanksgiving dinner to families all over northeastern Illinois.  Story after story of people who were blessed by these dinners began to roll in as well as volunteers being inspired as they showed love to the different families.  It was awesome!  Naturally this year our goal was to bless even more families.  On November 22, 2014 people from all over Mchenry County will be delivering 500 dinners to families in need to share the love of Jesus with a hurting world.  Last year one of the hardest things for us to find were the people who needed the help but already this year they have been rolling in!  We are overwhelmed by the goodness of God and are excited to see what He does this year.  Want to help?  Here are the different ways to get involved: 1.Purchase dinners (every $16 donated ensures an entire Thanksgiving dinner to a family in need) 2. Nominate families (let us know someone who could use a blessing!) 3. Help deliver (pick up location for boxes is 7010 Hillside, Crystal Lake, IL November 22 from 9am-1pm)
