PALS - GA GIVES  Tuesday

Hello  PALS Friends & Family;

The Arts Academy Inc. dba PALS (Performing Arts & Life Skills Academy Inc ) non profit is celebrating its 20th Anniversary of serving children ages 7-17 providing all year long Youth (STEAM) Programs in the community. We are blessed to have survived over a year of being closed due to COVID-19 pandemic. We watched as nearly a dozen childcare providers closed their doors permanently under the weight of the pandemic. During the pandemic our center pivoted into new territory and was certified as a virtual center. Our state-of-the art center provides at-risk students an opportunity to be creative, inventive and hands-on . Students enjoy the daily enrichment and outdoor physical activities. They also enjoy learning life skills and participating in the performing arts programs.

PALS continues to develop and build enriching student programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (STEAM) program. Our newest programs, however, we are in need of supplies i.e. computer equipment, STEM Activity Kits, and additional teachers.

Due to the economic devastation, we are striving continuously to support our Parents, Students and community through after school and summer camp academic/enrichment programs, creative arts and crafts, and performing arts i.e. music, drama, poetry and artwork.

PALS has now raised the bar for its students by focusing on STEAM activities. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)  PALS After School program has resumed and homework is #1.  Our focus is on cognitive activities,  hands-on exposure to robotics and technology, creative arts, mental and physical development of our students. We want to thank our Parents and Friends who support and donate to our cause each year. and we now solicit your help once again!

For the first time ever, PALS is reaching out to all its families past and present asking for your assistance on TUESDAY NOVEMBER 30. “Giving Tuesday '' has been established as a day of support for Georgia nonprofits. We desperately need your assistance as we continue to provide high level programs that encourages students to explore the possibilities. If PALS has had a positive impact on your child, we ask you to donate to our cause. and continue to send us your child's photo and success story to be exhibited on our PALS "Wall of Fame"!

PALS will be using donations to purchase new computers, supplies, STEM Kits and robotics equipment. PALS has been remodeled inside to better reflect an environment of technology and learning. PALS needs your help as we move towards the future.
