The Chelmsford Friends of Music Inc

Formed in 1980, the Chelmsford Friends of Music (CFoM) strives to ensure the best possible music education program in the Chelmsford Public Schools. All funds raised are used to support the Chelmsford Public Schools K-12 music programs and its students.

Here are some of the ways we accomplish our mission:

• Providing music camp and college scholarship assistance    

• Paying student registration fees for District and All-State festivals

• Funding enrichment programs to inspire students and motivate them to strive for higher levels of performance

• Purchasing sheet music for extracurricular ensembles

• Purchasing equipment/instruments for music groups

• Providing varsity jackets for music students

• Providing political support for music programs in the public schools

• Acknowledging individual and group musical accomplishments

• Offering cultural/recreational events

• Acting as an educational and equipment resource for students
