The Childrens Advocacy Center of Cherokee County Inc

The CAC provides a child friendly, home-like facility where children, with allegations of sexual abuse, receive multidisciplinary team services.  Children are referred from the Cherokee County Department of Human Resources or any Cherokee County law enforcement agency for forensic (fact-finding) interviews. Each of these children need a safe place to be heard. The CAC also provides therapy and court preparation/accompaniment for child victims and their non-offending family members. In addition, the CAC conducts child abuse prevention programs in all Cherokee County Schools as well as parent enhancement programs to parents in crisis or parents that simply want to learn to be a more effective parent.
