The Discovertorium

A nonprofit organization

$14,696 raised by 33 donors

The DiscoverTorium Science & Humankind Museum will be a world-class, hands-on, interactive museum located in Southern California’s Inland Empire.

The museum will be dedicated to inspiring a love of science and learning through exhibits that engage students and others to learn by doing and having fun and creating professional learning opportunities for teachers, other educators and researchers.

Nearing the end of Phase One, the museum development team is completing the master plan and beginning the procedure for launching the production of exhibits.  This process will use proven techniques pioneered by some of the most prestigious museums in the world.

The museum still needs to raise $225,000 to complete the feasibility study, planning phases, architectural conceptual models, a website, marketing materials, and the preliminary development work.

The goal for this step of the process is to raise $45,000.00 to finance the initial stages of planning, exhibit design, construction and acquisition.

Have your name engraved on the foundations of the Earth - Each founding donor in this drive will have their name engraved on a brass Tectonic Plate Map, showing the foundations of our planet.  This map will be a permanent exhibit in the DiscoverTorium Science & Humankind Museum.

Please make your donation now and change the future for the better for our children, our educational system, our region, and our nation.
