The First Tee of Idaho's impact goes well beyond golf. Youth in our programs acquire valuable skills needed for success on the course as well as in life. Youth learn how to set goals, manage emotions, and build confidence.

The First Tee of Idaho positively impacts the lives of almost 20,000 young people in Idaho annually. Our Life Skills Experience Program enrolls 500 youth with 10% of our participants receiving scholarships to attend.

The First Tee of Idaho invested $17,000 to add 15 new elementary schools to implement The First Tee National School Program. The First Tee National School Program now reaches more than 25,000 youth in 37 Elementary Schools in Idaho.

Our in-school outreach program introduces more than 3,000 students. These youth received golf instruction and learn life skill concepts such as respect and appreciating diversity - at no costs to the schools or the students.

We partner with area golf courses, Boys and Girls Clubs and Canyon County Juvenile Probation Department. We provide opportunities for kids to participate in a positive activity and learn resilience skills to help them make healthy choices about their lives. Programs offered with the Canyon County Juvenile Probation Department - these young men and women get a second chance in turning their around.

With two state wide program locations: Idaho Falls, Challis, and Jerome The First Tee of Idaho delivered the life skills education program to over 150 youth. 

The First Tee program is available to youth of all backgrounds, ages 6 - 18. No child or group is ever turned away due to the inability to pay.
