The Friends of the Hadley Council on Aging Incorporated

The Council on Aging’s (COA) goal is to improve the quality of life of Hadley’s residents 60 years of age and over, and offer the tools to remain independent within their own community through healthy aging programs, education, social interaction and services.

 

The town and state allotments for funding this lofty goal is $51 per senior per year.  The Friends of Hadley Council On Aging seeks to raise funds to supplement this allotment and meet the COA’s goals.

 

This year we need support to continue funding the following programs:

 

v     many seniors no longer drive and need the COA van service to take them to medical appointments and activities at the senior center.  Your support helps pay the salary of the driver.

v     1500 seniors receive the newsletter.  Your support will provide  printing services.

v       special programs that enhance physical and mental abilities for seniors are provided.  The more support received, the more help is provided to seniors.
