Global Volunteer Partnership Inc

The mission of The Global Volunteer Partnership is to meet the resource needs of America’s skilled volunteers, nonprofits and companies seeking to have measurable impact on global challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and disease.  Our vision is to become the leading catalyst for efforts by these skilled volunteers, nonprofits and companies to improve lives around the world. 

The Global Volunteer Partnership’s objectives are to facilitate, enable and strengthen the roles of skilled American volunteers, and US nonprofits and companies in global development by developing resources to encourage the fullest participation of each actor.  Such resources will: 

• Help skilled Americans find and afford relevant volunteer service opportunities abroad
• Help nonprofits to recruit and deploy more skilled volunteers
• Inform the public on the vital roles of skilled volunteers in addressing global problems
• Assist companies in efforts to involve or strengthen the participation of their employees in volunteer service abroad
• Encourage Americans and US organizations unable to participate directly in volunteer service abroad to support the mission of The Global Volunteer Partnership with financial and in-kind contributions
