GRAPEVINE, Boise's Historic Recovery Center

A nonprofit organization

$2,021 raised by 19 donors

We are partnering with the City of Boise to repair and restore, in historic fashion, Fire Station No. 2, fondly known to most as The Grapevine.  Since 1952 we have been the home of recovery from addiction to families, friends, and neighbors.  You may be, or likely know, one of these people.

We freely give hope through 12-step meetings and other support groups to people from all walks of life.  They include working professionals, those court ordered, and the homeless . . . students, single mothers, and veterans who have served.  Each week we host 30 unique meetings and receive 1,100 visits by those in recovery.  And the beauty is that all of this is given as a gift and at no cost.

Fire Station No. 2’s history of helping began in 1911 when it was built to house a chemical wagon drawn by two horses, a crew of four, and Captain Fred Lindsey.  Please join us as we work together to continue the tradition of Fire Station No. 2 of saving lives, whether we are fire fighters long gone, persons in recovery, or their families.

Donate now so we may quickly meet our goal!  We’re raising $125,000 in six months to:

 1. Replace exterior stucco walls

 2. Paint the outside of the building

 3. Replace windows, and

 4. Landscape the grounds

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
