Holland Project is a volunteer-based, youth-driven, non-profit organization that produces live music, arts, and workshop experiences for people of all ages, with a focus on teens and young adults. Holland Project provides an opportunity for young people to see live music and have access to art in a safe alcohol-free environment, and a chance for young people to gain valuable skills in event production, gallery management, and community organizing.

In 2014, Holland produced more than 230 all-ages events (an average of roughly 19 events per month), reaching more than 11,000 young people in the Truckee Meadows. In that 12-month period, Holland hosted more than 105 music events and performances, 21 workshop opportunities and classes, 33 gallery exhibits/art events including both group and solo shows, 9 spoken word/poetry events, 14 special events city-wide, 7 film presentations, and various dance events, rehearsals, band recording sessions, forums and speaker presentations.

Holland aims to end the long-standing void for teens in the Truckee Meadows by helping to redefine Reno as a place that is not just for adults. In making Holland a success, we hope to further identify Reno as a cultural center with a vibrant urban scene; a place where art and music thrive and one that energetically supports and inspires its young population.
