Mission

The mission of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley is to protect and enhance the lives of companion animals by promoting healthy relationships between pets and people. We stay true to our mission statement through a diverse curriculum of programs and services. From basic to complex - and only possible with the help of our volunteers - our programs touch the lives of an extraordinary number of people and animals.

Programs

The Humane Society of Boulder Valley's programs include a humane animal shelter; an on-site, full-service veterinary clinic which houses our spay and neuter program; a companion animal adoption program, which celebrates 100% placement of adoptable animals; a foster care program; a lost and found program; a volunteer program; animal assisted therapy and pet visitation programs; a volunteer-driven community outreach program, including our mobile pet adoption unit dubbed the "Pet Care Cruiser"; a dog training center offering a variety of classes; our Animal Care and Control Program; and a Pet Loss Support Group program.
