The Let It Be Foundation Inc

Give BIG is a 24-hour online event that takes place all day Tuesday, October 30th, and is specifically for nonprofit organizations in San Bernardino County. It is designed to support all the amazing work being done, generate funding and to build a culture of philanthropy and giving throughout the county.  

As a first time participants, Give BIG connects The Let It Be Foundation with a broader audience to share what we do to support children, families and youth. It also allows us to learn from/about other local nonprofits and potentially generate new supporters. There is also a monetary incentive with over $40,000 in grants and prizes being offered. With all the benefits, who wouldn't want to take part? 

You can show your support by simply making a donation. Click on the "Donate" button and a minimum donation of $5 makes a difference, supports our involvement which in turn moves us up the leader board to qualify for some of the $40,000 that is available. About us...

The Let It Be Foundation based in Chino, CA provides ongoing support and services to families of children diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses throughout the sick child's treatment, with focus on the entire family thereby restoring normalcy. All of our programs align with our mission; helping the entire family restore a sense of normalcy.    

How We Care For Our Let It Be Families

Essential items/services like groceries, gas, home and/or yard maintenance are consistent needs for our families and to make certain their unique needs are also met, each family is given their own individualized support and services plan. The plan extends throughout the duration of their child's treatment and may change as circumstances in their journey change. We are flexible because we recognize the struggles, stress and change that come with caring for a sick child. We want to connect our families to the community and do this by facilitating activities, things to do and places to see within the community and strive to help our families avoid centering their lives on a disease, which in turn allows them to discover the positives that can come out of their journey.  

Youth Leadership and Clubs on Campus Programs

Our Youth Leadership Team is comprised of 7th - 12th grade students who are given the opportunity to learn compassion, key leadership skills and about philanthropy by planning activities and fundraising events, volunteering in the community and interacting with Let It Be Families. Let It Be Clubs on Campus unite hundreds of students each year on junior and high school campuses where they bring awareness to pediatric life-threatening illnesses through club campaigns and drives. Through both programs, students set an example and inspire their peers to get involved in their community.

Through our six (6) partner hospitals, Let It Be provides support to thousands of children and families with:   

• Bedside Activities Backpacks
• Personal Care Kits
• Special Projects & Activities
• Holiday Decorating 

Volunteers

Whether it is operational or program support, event preparation, planning and execution, we are very fortunate to have a team of dedicated, passionate volunteers who support our mission. This volunteer workforce gives us the manpower and bandwidth to accomplish tasks, projects and events so we can continue to care for our families. Our volunteers sign-up for the hardest work and longest days; they are our forever heroes!

Each of our events is thoughtfully planned with the following goals:

• Involve as many volunteers as possible
• Engage as many sponsors who choose to get involved
• To increase participation annually
• To ALWAYS include our families to allow them as much normalcy in their community as possible
