Mindful Life Project is the largest direct-service mindfulness based social emotional learning nonprofit in the country, serving 50 Title 1 schools across the Bay Area and recently expanding into the South Bay and Monterey County. MLP will be serving over 24,000 students each week with our full time in person direct service programming in schools. Our comprehensive approach supports the mental and emotional well-being of students, teachers, staff, community leaders, and families and helps transform schools from the inside out. This is done with the intention to create cultures and climates where mental and emotional well-being is the foundation of everyone's experience. In addition to our direct service programming we also offer a comprehensive multi layered training program for educators and youth workers that is both culturally relevant and trauma informed.

In the 2023-24 school year, our direct service programming is serving students in the following areas: Richmond, Oakland, Antioch, Pittsburg, Oakley, Vallejo, San Francisco, Concord, San Jose, San Bruno, Salinas, and Marina.

In the 2023-24 school year our training partnerships are excited to kick off the school year and are projected to serve an additional 26,000 students across California and beyond. We look forward to building on these partnerships and including new communities in the work we're doing!
