The Navigators

Greetings Friends and Thank You for your Prayers and Partnership!

Where to start? My roots in campus ministry go back nearly three decades to my formative days as a college student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I, along with my husband Chad were so impacted by the staff and community that invested in us, that we spent the next 15 years investing in students on multiple Wisconsin campuses with The Navigators. Now, after a season of ministry leadership within a variety of Navigator and church contexts, the Lord has called me back to reach and disciple university students in Canada and I am delighted! Here I serve as one of three National Collegiate Directors for our overall Navigators work and minister at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. 

When Chad and I were asked to consider moving to Canada to help rebuild the campus work, we saw it as a great fit for both our gifts and longings. Chad and I have often had the privilege of starting new ministries or laying new foundations with existing ones. We love to trust God together and strategically plan for the expansion of His Kingdom! Isaiah 54:2-3 is a passage that has always guided us: “Enlarge the place of your tents, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes… for you will spread out to the right and the left.” So now as we follow Jesus into this new adventure and country, it is our vision to put new stakes in the ground to make space for the work of God to spring up.
