The EagleEyes Technology changes lives for individuals with profound physical disabilities and provides them with the opporotunity for recreation, education & communition.  Please help the Opportunity Foundation of America (OFOA) to raise money and supply EagleEyes to children in need!

OFOA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit orgaization responsible for the manufacturing, distributing and training for the EagleEyes Technology. OFOA also provides training for the Camera Mouse Technology. These two amazing technologies provide opportunities for individuals who are totally locked-in their bodies and only have control of the movement of their eyes or head.  With the EagleEyes Technology they are now able to utilize a computer. EagleEyes picks up the electrical signal of the eye and converts it into the mouse cursor.  Camera Mouse, captures the movement of the head with the use of a webcam and turns head movement into mouse movement. Both of these technologies are simply a mouse replacement system for the computer.  The technology is used in individual homes, schools, colleges and organizations, providing an opportunity for recreation, education and communication. Our users are between the ages of 3 and 65 years old.

Trained EagleEyes student volunteers from Olympus High, Taylorsvile High and Jordan High facilitate EagleEyes sessions twice a week at the Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind, Hartvigson School and Jordan Valley School in Utah.  The success and positive feedback we have received from both high school students and special needs teachers has been so incredible we are looking into expanding this model across the country.

The Opportunity Foundation of America has distributed over 400 EE systems across the US and Canada, in schools and individual homes.

Jacob Sahota's EagleEyes Story

I was very unsure if EagleEyes (EE) wold work for Jacob since he is cortically blind and has no central vision due to traumatic brain injury during birth caused by Congenital Hydrocephalus.

The day we hooked Jacob up to EE for the first time it was immediately appareent Jacob had more vision than we realized.  He immediately recognized the cause & effect dimensions presented by the EE programs and loved the musical and audio feedback.

Jacob has continued to improve his skills as his eyes get stronger and the cause & effect theme is reinforced. To put it in perspective, nearly two years ago, Jacob suffered a severe medical event which brought him to the brink of death. He was hospitalized for over a month and suffered a severe neurological setback.  His recovery from this event has been long and arduous but I am convinced that EE accelerated his recovery.  EE is not just a tool to help him improve but since it is fun and entertaining Jacob actually looks forward to using it.

We are so pleased with EE and feel so fortunate to have discovered it.  EE provides incredible neurological stimulation and Jacob's whole team feels we are only scratching the tip of the iceberg regarding the possibilities EE provides.
