The Orchestra of Southern Utah

From the pioneer fiddlers to the musicians of today we have enjoyed a strong tradition of music in Cedar City.  The Orchestra of Southern Utah is a cultural foundation organization for our area and provides live music ranging from the classics to the popular.  We also provide many performance opportunities through the Chorale, recitals, and young artist concerto performances. 

Our area is lower income so donations go a long way in helping us provide music assemblies, keeping ticket prices within reach of our populace, and keeping live music available.  We provide assemblies for 3000 children as well as a family matinée complete with music and hands-on science and art activities each Feb.

We have also made efforts to encourage international understanding through music through international guest artists.  A delegation of our musicians also traveled to China for performances.  We serve zipcodes 84720 and 84721.
