Today, The Salvation Army’s social services programs help people in the Boise/Ada County area transition from crisis to safety and stability – 365 days a year – by providing assistance and crisis aid to those needing food, shelter, clothing, counseling, and transportation. In addition, The Salvation Army’s unique School Program for Pregnant and Parenting Girls helps girls coping with a teen pregnancy to stay in school, graduate, and be prepared go on to post-secondary education or job training.

The Salvation Army helps families and individuals regardless of the obstacles they face.  Being a family-focused agency, The Salvation Army’s professional team works to keep the family intact and encourages strengthening of family bonds.
