The Salvation Army - Hastings Nebraska

Throughout its nearly 150 year history, The Salvation Army has fought on the frontlines of poverty and shame.  Services provided by the Army are widely varied in scope:  rent and utility assistance, homelessness and hunger prevention, heating/cooling relief, medical transportation assistance, information and referral, and financial budgeting and intervention.  The services provided affect some 12,000 Adams County households (duplicated) annually.   One such intervention is our Wacky Weekday Summer Day Camp for high-risk youth. 

Wacky Weekdays provides a safe haven of supervision, meals and opportunities that children would otherwise not experience and enjoy.  Campers are afforded scholarships, pool passes, adventurous educational trips and solid, Biblical character and patriotism character development activities.  Your donation today empowers The Salvation Army in serving families and people in need right here in our own community.
