The San Carlos Parks & Recreation Foundation Inc

We are currently raising scholarship money for Parks and Recreation Department classes and programs.  Although we have donated over $20,000 to the scholarship fund over the last several years, there are still many families that have been turned away from the programs because they cannot afford the fees.

Since inception in 2006, the Foundation has contributed over $800,000 to assist the Parks and Recreation Department.  The Foundation raised a significant portion of the two phases of Burton Park's redevelopment, including two new playgrounds, a water-play feature, a permanant stage, two new basketball courts, and three bocce ball courts.
