Each year in the US, nearly 4,000 children and young people die suddenly - seemingly for no reason at all.  Often, these deaths are due to treatable, genetic heart conditions. 

The trick is recognizing the warning signs of SADS.

• Fainting when exercising or startled
• History of young, unexplained death in the family
• Consistent chest pain or pressure during exercise
