The Transformation Center

Our mission at The Transformation Center, Inc is to rebuild lives and restore communities through holistic transformation by connecting people to their God-given destiny and providing pathways to rise above obstacles of poverty, addiction, poor education, unemployment, and social injustice.

Core Values 

Community  We believe by planting and investing in a neighborhood we can become a catalyst of transformation. True transformation comes from the community when given the proper resources and guidance to equip individuals and families to develop vibrant neighborhoods.

Faith-based  We believe that every person is created in the image of God. We are guided by the truths of Jesus and seek to provide pathways to hope, grace, love, and redemption. The ultimate transformation occurs when a person is connected to Jesus and His plan and purpose for their life.

Holistic  We believe in addressing the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and relational needs of the whole person. Total transformation is possible when all areas are fostered, developed, and nurtured.

Value  We believe that every individual deserves dignity and respect regardless of differences. As vehicles of transformation, we are called to love unconditionally and have empathy for one another.

The Transformation Center, established as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2014, is a community outreach center that serves in the southern part of Baltimore City in the neighborhood of Brooklyn. We are located in the heart of the neighborhood on 4th Street and are dedicated to serving the needs of the community who struggle to overcome poverty, addiction, violence. We have several programs addressing our five pillars of holistic transformation which are resource accessibility, health and well -being, employment, education and social justice. Our current programs addressing these pillars are as follows:

• Beautiful Feet is our outreach program providing hot meals, warm showers, and haircuts to the homeless population in/around the Brooklyn community. (resource accessibility) 
• LifeNeeds is our Christian counseling center providing free mental health and social work services to the Brooklyn community members without barriers to treatment. (health and well-being)
• Lilies Place is our food and clothing distribution program serving over 150 families each week placing a huge emphasis on promoting value and dignity to each member in the community. (resource accessibility)
• TC Pets is our community pet support and outreach program helping owners help their pets by providing food, supplies and access to vet care. (resource accessibility)
• TC Kids is our weekly kids' program that provides a space for elementary and middle school-aged children with a fun and safe place to learn, grow, and play. (education)
