HART PANTRY

A nonprofit organization

HART PANTRY provides food and other necessities to At -Risk teenagers in concert with public schools and community organizations to encourage these teens to finish high school and increase their self-esteem.

A faith based non-profit community outreach program serving the west valley of Maricopa County, AZ.
HART Pantry does not put faith based restrictions or limitations on its services to teenagers. The HART Pantry does not discriminate or withhold aid from any teen; regardless of faith, gender, ethnic heritage, sexual orientations or otherwise.
The goal of HART Pantry is to reach local high school teens who do not have enough or any food at home. These young people might truly be homeless, living in shelters, or in a crisis situation at home. No parent or guardian able to provide care or protection. Working with local school and community counselors, our staff works to provide eligible teens with needed services. Food bags are delivered each week to local high schools for needy teens to pick up so that they will have food for the weekend. At times, HART Pantry also provides clothing and bicycles and other assistance to teens so that they can get to school or to after school jobs. At Christmas time, the Pantry provides special bags filled with hoodies, t-shirts, socks, blanket throws, hats and gloves, and $25 gift cards for the purchase of shoes to the same teens that have been receiving weekend food bags,to help brighten their holiday and so that they know they are cared about.
