Long Beach Shakespeare Company

Our new artistic director, Holly Leveque, inaugurated a
festival and poetry readings this year. LBSC films many productions
and prepares comprehensive study packages for the Long Beach Unified
School District and other institutions, freeing access to
traditionally underserved youth.

LBSC produces radio shows two to three complete
productions of a Shakespeare play yearly. These productions often
feature fresh interpretations, bringing new insights, global
influences, and accessibility to new audiences. So, to reach beyond
just Bixby Knolls, unite Los Angeles County and Orange County and
bring them to Long Beach.
