The Prenatal Clinic

• To provide community based prenatal care and education to medically indigent, low-income residents of the Brazos Valley • To reduce illness and death associated with prenatal and perinatal periods; to reduce the number of low birth weight infants and the rate of newborn mortality; and • To deliver services in a manner that promotes human dignity, respects cultural and individual differences, and preserves freedom of choice, while maintaining individual confidentiality.

The Prenatal Clinic is a special place in the Brazos Valley community where women with limited medical and financial means receive comprehensive, accessible and affordable prenatal care, along with health education. Our goal is to reduce the number of women who arrive in the delivery room without prior prenatal care and to reduce the number of preterm births. The attention women receive at The Prenatal Clinic ensures a successful delivery and most importantly, a healthy baby.

The Prenatal Clinic will celebrate our 40th birthday this December.
