We put stories on stage to to inspire healing conversation.

At theatre KAPOW, we are committed to creating work that builds community and fosters connection. Over 17 seasons, we’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of live theatre to inspire empathy and meaningful conversations long after the final curtain falls. With state and general funding for arts & nonprofit organizations at risk, your support through NH Gives is more important than ever.

Our programs feature theatrical performances and educational community programs that benefit audiences across NH at BNH Stage and the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, the Currier Museum of Art and Saint Anselm College in Manchester, and the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Meredith. tKAPOW is committed to ensuring that its work benefits and is accessible to all members of the community.

Contributions like yours on NH Gives will help tKAPOW sustain
these important initiatives into our next season and beyond:

  • Including ASL interpretation at each of our mainstage productions to broaden access for members of the deaf community.

  • Partnering with Future in Sight, New Hampshire’s leading provider of services for individuals who are blind or visually impaired to ensure the audience participation in February’s Every Brilliant Thing was accessible to those audiences.

  • Responsibly approaching stories centered on mental health, suicide loss and survival. tKAPOW collaborated with NAMI-NH, Capital Art Therapy, and the Jason R. Flood Memorial Foundation to provide audiences with tools for self-care, mental health advocacy, and further dialogue.

  • Reaching more than 2,000 audience members  from 56 communities in NH, including 700 students from middle school through college. For many, it was their first experience of a Shakespeare play performed live.

THANK YOU for your support!
