The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada (The Center), located in Downtown Las Vegas at 401 S. Maryland Parkway, provides a broad array of programs and services to thousands of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people across Southern Nevada. We offer four population based programs for youth, seniors, the transgender community and those living with HIV. Also available is free HIV and STD testing, a cyber center, lending library, cultural events and activities, and much more. When there is a need, we give support to those coming out (no matter their age) and to parents in need of education and resources to better accept their LGBTQ identified child.

In addition to The Center being a place where people convene to find a welcoming, affirming and safe place; The Center makes referrals to community resources to those in crisis, and conducts legislative and community advocacy.



Your Support Helps Fund These Needs

Senior Program ACT III

  • $600 helps to provide Senior lunches for one month.
  • $2,000 helps to provide a Senior outing event.

Diversity and Inclusive Programming

  • $50 helps to provide 200 bus passes for transportation.
  • $2,000 helps to provide one years worth of food for gender translation.

Health and Wellness 

  • $100 helps to provide PrEp medication for one individual for one year.
  • $500 helps to provide STD testing for 10 individuals.
  • $3,000 helps to provide HIV patients labs and treatment for 6 months.

Youth Programming

  • $200 helps to provide a special event for youth.
  • $500 helps to provide a graduation event for our Pivot Program.
  • $2,000 helps to provide monthly art activities for a year.

Volunteers

  • $35 helps to provide onboarding costs for new volunteers.
  • $1,000 helps to provide a yearly Volunteer Appreciation event.

Victims of Crime

  • $100 helps to provide 24hr bus passes.
  • $1,000 helps to provide 30-day temporary housing for Victims of Crime.
  • $1,500 helps to provide undergarments and socks for 100 individuals.
