The Children’s Study Home offers a broad and successful spectrum of services and programs to children and families in both Western Massachusetts and the Cape. As one of the oldest human service organizations in Massachusetts, we are passionate about caring for and improving the lives of vulnerable children, youth and families through high quality educational, residential and family services. The Children’s Study Home offers the highest quality treatment services possible, and has been empowering children and families and supporting the development of behavioral health since our founding in 1865.

Our team, in partnership with families, assesses the needs of the child or youth and develops individualized service plans that promote recovery, growth, and wellness. Based on these individual needs, we provide a variety of services.

Our residential programs provide a safe, therapeutic group environment where children and youth have the opportunity to grow and find success alongside their peers.

Our educational services provide individualized, innovative learning programs customized to meet the needs of each student. We provide elementary through high school classes as well as transitional services for young adults.

Our clinical and family services provide a broad scope of programming and interventions to preserve and strengthen families through foster care, family reunification, parent education and family stabilization. We work to ensure that families are given the tools and opportunities to succeed and thrive.
