At The Fund, we invest in innovative people, organizations and ideas that improve outcomes for all Kentucky students. We believe in the power of thinking and the momentum of doing.

In education, collaboration is key. We believe in sharing ideas that work, and just as importantly we believe in sharing ideas that don’t work. We give teachers the space to collaborate and spread the knowledge that helps grow their teaching profession as well as their students’ minds. We also identify innovative tools and practices that may be in use in one classroom, school or district and scale them to other districts across the state.

The ever-changing demands of our workforce and economy mean our education system must be agile. We must change with the times and the needs of our students. Rather than fighting that change, The Fund helps teachers, school administrators and district leaders adapt to new requirements and prepare their students for a future that is often unpredictable.
