A Different Kind of Clinic

We know that poverty, hunger, and inequity are complex, and it’s not always clear how to help.

Whole Person Care means that no one needs to choose between rent and food, bills or medicine—Hope Clinic offers free services in four essential areas that combine to provide comprehensive Whole Person Care. When you partner with Hope Clinic, you are investing in Medical and Dental care, Food & Basic Needs support, and Behavioral Health care.

Hope Clinic met 60,000+ requests for help in 2021 alone. 

Our organization was born out of the broken hearts of people who saw the pain of their neighbors and wanted to help. Since 1982, Hope has given attention to the forgotten corners of our community, bringing light to the beauty that exists there, and investing in hope for the future. 

When you’re a different kind of clinic, one of the most common questions from clients is, "Who are you people?" 

Hope is a small staff, supportive donors, and robust network of volunteers, working together toward a community where every single person has the opportunity to serve and to be served. 

At Hope Clinic, we are committed to radical generosity and love. People often come to Hope Clinic struggling to gain access to the Whole Person Care that they need. When they arrive at Hope, they are greeted with love, and treated with dignity. We help them to navigate the complex world of social services and offer many of the comprehensive services they need directly on site.  This would not be possible without our incredible network of donors, volunteers, and community partners who leverage the maximum help for our clients, given freely, without strings, in Jesus’ name.

Hope Clinic is a 501c3 organization with a 4-star Charity Navigator rating and a platinum GuideStar status. In fact, at the beginning of 2020, we were the highest-ranked organization in the state of Michigan.

The impact of every dollar given at hope is multiplied because of the dedication of our 1,200+ volunteers who give thousands of hours each year to ensure that lives are changed.
