We believe mental health is just health—and everyone deserves the tools, support, and understanding to thrive.

Who We Are

Our mission is to empower young people to talk openly about their emotional well-being, break down the stigma that surrounds mental illness, and create a community where seeking help is a sign of strength.

The Pete Foundation’s Rock the Elephant initiative is our rallying cry to take on the “elephant in the room” — the stigma, silence, and misunderstanding that surround mental health.

Through this powerful, community-driven movement, we’re working to:

1. Increase Awareness – Creating visible, creative, and engaging campaigns that make mental health impossible to ignore.

2. Further Research & Education – Supporting evidence-based strategies and sharing knowledge to help everyone better understand mental health.

3. Advocate for Better Care – Raising our voices to push for a higher standard of mental health support locally and nationwide.

4. Expand Access to Services – Connecting people with the help they need, when they need it.

We focus on youth, but our work reaches people of all ages, because mental health impacts us all. From hosting free QPR suicide prevention trainings to sparking meaningful conversations in schools, sports teams, workplaces, and public spaces, Rock the Elephant is about making change you can see and feel.

When you give today, you’re not just donating — you’re helping an entire community stand up, speak out, and take action for better mental health.
