Mission

The Stay Up Late Show (SULS) is a WOC and queer led theatrical producing body, focused on stimulating older artists to make new work and exposing new artists to established audiences. In addition, The Stay Up Late Show produces its one-of-a-kind LIVE talk show/cabaret on a quarterly basis, bringing together the best of theater, burlesque, arts, politics, and local cuisine.

Description

We produce & co-produce fun, uplifting live theatrical experiences, featuring prominently women, BIPOC and the LGBTQiA communities.
2022 is Full of HOPE, and we want to Bring it the the People!

A Burlesque/Cabaret Salute to SKA music (1st 2nd and 3rd Waves) 

We're talkin' everything from Toots and the Maytals  and Desmond Dekker, to The English Beat, Madness, The Selecter to No Doubt, Save Ferris, Mighty Might Bosstones, Voodoo Glowskulls and More!

AND THE BIGGEST! Co Producing What The Funk: An All BIPOC Burlesque Festival with Puckductions! 

What it is: BIPOC performers from Seattle, the PNW and across the nation gather in the Emerald City for 3 funky nights:

1st night- Live Funk Band + Burlesque

2nd night- SHOWCASE the finest BIPOC burlesque to the funkiest music

3rd night- Grand Master Funk Competition and Crowning!
