The Well Project Inc a Not for Profit Corporation

The Well Project is currently providing much-needed information and support to over 1 million women and girls living with HIV and their care providers each year; however, our web portal is in urgent need of an upgrade to continue our mission. We need YOUR help to get us across the finish line to launch a brand new web portal that will  enable us to expand our reach and impact exponetially, provide a platform for partner organizations to showcase their work, add more features for community support/advocacy building and set the stage to provide our content in additional languages to better meet the needs of our global audience.  

Why is this project important? Recent surveys of those who utilize The Well Project's online resources told us their top reasons for visiting and the impact it has on them personally.

Why?

1. To learn about HIV disease and its treatments
2. To connect with other HIV+ women
3. To obtain and/or improve their advocacy skills

Impact:

• 73% said it helps them feel less isloated
• 50% said our resources improved their self esteem and decreased their self stigma
• 50% said the resources helped them to improve their self care, (mental, physical, emotional)
• 30-40% improved their adherence, access to care, communication with provider and practiced safer sex
