One Million Aok

The idea started back in 2008 with a simple challenge, "Can you document 1,000,000 acts of kindness". The challenge was given by Tom Callos, the martial arts instructor of Think Kindness Founder Brian Williams. 

A simple challenge sparked a challenge that is now sweeping the nation in search for the KINDEST SCHOOL IN THE UNITED STATES. Over 70,000 students have participate in the '15 Days of Kindness' challenge year year. Some school have documented over 15,000 acts of kindness, others have collected over 28,000 pairs of shoes. All in all, shcools come together to compete in one thing that truly makes a difference. . . kindness. 

Once a student is nice to another student, the school glows a little brighter. Students in the United States are exposed to so much media that brands their looks, education, financial status, family situation as 'Broken'. We have found many students, by the time they reach high school, don't think they can truly change the world. 

We prove them wrong. 

One act of kindness, when done in solidarity with thousands of others, makes a ripple that never ends. Students realize they can do their part, and their part can make a bigger difference.
