Thriving Pink

Thriving Pink grew out of a desire to help family, friends and neighbors struggling with a diagnosis of breast cancer, recognizing the difficult physical, emotional and economic impact it had on their daily lives.  At this time of giving, your donations can offer immediate assistance to those who are persevering through this life changing news.  YOUR dollars count!

With 1 in 8 women diagnosed with invasive breast cancer over the course of their lifetime, there is a tremendous local need for a place to connect and receive support—and the need for our services continues to grow.  Thriving Pink is steadfast and passionate in our commitment to meet the needs of the breast cancer community.  Thriving Pink supports anyone in Yolo County impacted by breast cancer; all services and programs are offered at no cost and are planned and delivered by volunteers, many of whom are breast cancer survivors with a deep understanding of the cancer journey.  We educate, empower and provide support from the initial time of a breast cancer diagnosis and throughout survivorship.  We provide financial grants, educational workshops, professionally facilitated support groups, wellness programs, peer mentorship, retreats, and fellowship.  Through our program ProspeROSA, we offer materials, mentors, and programs for the Spanish-speaking community. 

Currently, we reach over 1,000 breast cancer survivors, donors, volunteers, and community members from Yolo County and beyond with our work.  We engage a broad cross section of the local community - small businesses, healthcare delivery systems, family supporters and individuals - in outreach, education and awareness activities.
