Through the 4th Wall Productions

TT4W focuses on film and theater projects that are not only intellectually stimulating and visually stunning, but ones that pull you (the audience) through the imaginary “4th wall” that traditionally separates the audience from the action on the stage. This goal is achieved through audience interactivity and immersion. 

TT4W doesn’t have a home stage of our own, but in the Fall of 2016, we produced a new version of our original award-winning immersive interactive theatrical play, A Dream Within A Dream: Madness. (All of the pictures and video seen above are from our Poe performances.)

The two-month run of our SOLD-OUT hit transformed all three floors of the iconic Torpedo Factory Arts Center into a Victorian Era insane asylum. During the show, audience members came face-to-face with Edgar Allan Poe and characters from his greatest works as one tried to understand the reasons for his madness.

Now, TT4W is partnering with Little Theater of Alexandria (LTA) on our most ambitious project yet-- 19.

19 is an original play that is currently in development by TT4W.

It is the story of one of the most impactful figures in U.S. history. Although few even know her name, everyone is familiar with her accomplishment.

Alice Paul led the charge for the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It gave women the right to vote. Our story blends an incredibly heroic lost history, modern music, moving images and aspects of immersive and interactive theater.

We are going to do a series of “Workshops” of the play, beginning in late Fall 2017. (We will begin with the first 30 minutes or so and move on from there.) The goal of the Workshops will be to get audience feedback and then incorporate that into the final version to be staged in 2018.
